Kralorela, the Eastern Empire, follows an ancient Dragon Way which is, they say, unchanged since the beginning of Time. Kralori priests and magicians practice Dragon Magic, though they are accused of heresy by western Dragonewts. The famous Scholar Wyrm of Heortland voices an old complaint when he says the Kralori claims cannot be, "because the Kralorelans are humans."

The Kralori claim that their Emperors are, in fact, Dragons, and that it is not the place of wyrms or dragonewts to determine Draconic doctrine. "If we were not True Dragons then the Draconic Masters would destroy us, as all false Dragons are destroyed," they claim.
